The hallway contains what seems like an infinate number of doors. It almost seems endless. Out of all the doors, two of them catch your eye. One of the doors is wide open with [[light pouring out of it]]. The other door reminds you of your [[childhood friend]]. Which one do you go through? You go back to watching television on your favorite couch. You try to enjoy the show, but the secret door keeps on bothering you. You go back to the door and [[unlock it|hallway]].You appear to be in a bedroom. The walls are painted violet and there is a bright chandelier on the ceiling. The light you saw coming from the door is from the chandelier. You walk over to the bed. You notice a night stand beside it. On closer inspection, you see that there is what seems like a <div class="gold">note</div> on the night stand. [[You pick it up]].A room full of pictures lie before you. You slowly walk around, taking in the pictures. One of the paintings has your childhood friend, Jules. You notice something peculiar. One side of the painting seems ripped. You approach the painting. You look behind the tear, and you see <div class="gold">a piece of paper.</div> [[You pick the note up]].The writing is cursive. Parts of the note are ripped, but you can recognise one sentence that says "don't eat the food." You put the note in your pocket and [[look around]]. There is a small door to the right of the bed that you didn't notice before. [[You enter it]].The room is pitch black The door closes behind you. Suddently, the light turns on, and as your eyes adjust to the light, an alarm behind you goes off. You look behind you, and a man wearing red overalls and a black hat with a strange looking wand stares back at you. Then he <div class="yell">yells</div> something in a foreign language. Out of nowhere, the platform beneath you gives away, and [[you fall]].
The writing is cursive. Parts of the note are ripped, but you can recognise one sentence that says "don't eat the food." You put the note in your pocket and [[continue to look around.]]You turn around. You spot a little door behind you. [[You enter it]].You fall for what seems like forever until your feet touches cold water, and you land in a pool of some sort. You look around, and you notice fish skeletons floating in the water. You get a bad feeling about this place. You start to move backwards, but your foot accidentally pushes a button and these huge great white sharks swarm around you. You frantically look for a way to escape, and you notice a trapdoor underneath you. But, the pool is really deep and you think you won't make it to the trapdoor in time. You look around frantically again, desperate for a way out. Behind you there seems to be a door small enough for you to fit, but not big enough for the sharks. You start to make your way over to the door, but you see a message painted on the door. The message says, "Don't go in this door, for if you do, you are sure to die." You need to make a decision quickly. Do you [[go in the trapdoor]], or [[go in the ominous door]]?The room is small and dark. Two staircases are in front of you. One [[leads up]], the other [[goes down]]. Which do you choose? The room before you seem ordinary despite the threat. You walk around the room toward what seems like a pit. You stop at the edge, and stare down. The pit is so deep that you can't see the bottom. Out of nowhere, an army of skeletons swarm you. You fall in the [[pit|goes down]].Fluffy bean bags shaped like clouds line the room. The walls are painted blue with white blobs all over it. The floor is made of glass and overlooks a peaceful looking field. On the opposite side of the room is a red door. In the center of the room, there is a big plate of fruit. Your stomach growls just looking at it. Do you [[eat the food]] or [[go through the door?|door at the end]]The door behind you clicks shut. When you try to open it, the door doesn't budge. You step into the room and feel a tile sink under your foot. The walls begin to close in on you. You frantically look around for a way to escape. There is a [[door at the end]], but you are not sure if you will make it in time. On the ceiling is a ladder and a [[small hole]]. Which do you choose? You fall on your knees and everything goes black. You wake up on your bed with your parents next to you. Your parents scold you that you shouldn't have eaten the food.
[[Start over?|Background info/start]]You appear to be in a child's playroom. Toys surround you and a ball pit is in the corner. The walls are painted pastel colors with flowers. You are tired after being through so much, and you want to have fun and go play in the [[ball pit]]. Or, you could continue to [[look around the room]]. What do you do?You climb up the ladder for what seems like forever and end up in a kitchen. Tables after tables of rich, steamy entree dishes stretch before you. You breathe in the pleasant aroma, and your body automatically goes forward. Until then, you didn't realize that you were hungry. You sit down at one of the tables, and start to dig in. You pause right before the fork hits your mouth. You have a suspicious feeling about this. Should you [[eat the food]], [[or not]]?You leap into the pit of color, but never feel a floor. Instead, you fall down, down, down into a bathroom. There is a bathtub in the right corner, and a sink in the left corner. You make your way over to the sink, and notice a message on the mirror with bright red lipstick. The message says, "Phyllis Doumfort." You don't have a clue on what that means, but you have a feeling it's going to be important. You memorize the name, and you go back to [[exploring the room]].You plop down on an elephant beanbag as stuffing spills out of it. In the mix of the white beans, there is a note. It reads, "Phyllis Doumfort." You make a mental image of the note and go [[back to exploring.]] You notice something flashing in the bathtub. You draw back the shower curtains and enter the bathtub. On the floor is a glossy rock. You pick it up slowly. You notice that there is a string attatching it to the bathtub. You put it up higher to see if it will disconnect. The moment the rock is level with your head, the bathtub starts to [[grumble]]. A trampoline rests in the corner. Above the trampoline is a hole. You race over to the trampoline and bounce a few time. On your fourth bounce, you fly up into the hole as it shuts [[beneath you]].You stand up from your chair. Between the tables of food, there is a door with unicorns painted on it. You [[enter it|door at the end]].You are in what looks to be an oversized trash can. Suddently, cookie monster pops up next to you. "Howdy!" It says. "Lets go on a ride!" he pulls back a lever, and the trash can [[jerks forward]]. The bathtub starts to go up beneath you. It shakes for a few seconds, and it sprouts wings. You sit down, because you have acrophobia. You start to feel nauseous as the bathtub goes forward. You draw back the curtains and look outside, because you are curious to where you are going. You see small blue blobs as you speed forward. You come to a stop at a bowling alley. [[You go in]].The trashcan starts to go forward with blinding speed. You are scared out of your mind, and you hang on to the trashcan and cookie monster. You pass big pink blobs, and stop at what seems like a bowling alley. [[You go in]]. The floor is red and white checkerboard. You remember how good you are at bowling, but also notice tables and chests all around the room.
Should you [[explore?]]
Or [[go bowling?]]
<<set $haskey to false>>You open the chests to see old trinkets and antiques. You study the chest for another 5 minutes, and [[go on to the next room|door in the corner]]
<<set $haskey to false>>You go over to the ball machine. You pick up a ball and try to fit your fingers in, but something blocks the way. You peer inside the hole and see a key. You pocket the key and begin to [[explore|door in the corner]].
<<set $haskey to true>>You enter the door to see a heavily padlocked door. There are guards flanking each side of the door, and you accost them. You try opening the door, but it doesn´t budge. The guards say ¨Thy shall enter when thy hath retrieved thy key¨
<<if $haskey is true>>
You remember the key you found in the bowling ball, and take it out. You try it out, and after a few tries, the door opens. [[You enter.]]
<<elseif $haskey is false>>
You don´t remember having or finding a key anywhere. You go back to the room with the bowling alley to [[search for a key|You go in]]
<</if>>
You live in a giant mansion. Your parents are never around. Yesterday, you turned 13 and your parents gave you a fancy key. You don't know what to do with it, but after playing around with it, you discover that it opens up a new hallway that you have never been in before. Your parents told you that you weren't allowed to go into that hallway since you were little. But, you are tired of being bored and your feeling adventurous. Do you go in the [[hallway]], or [[chicken out]]?
There is a table with a picture on top of it. You pick the photo up to see that your name is on the picture. On the back, a signature signs, Phyllis Doumfort. You flip the photo back over to examine the picture. There is a short, stout woman with kind eyes and brown hair. You don´t recognize her, but the baby in her lap looks strangly familiar. You pocket the picture and see a [[door at the end of the hall]] and a [[trap door on the floor]].You find yourself in a yellow, sunny room with a big bed in the middle. The bed seems to have a lump of something in it, and you pull back the covers, curious to find out what's underneath. But what you find is out of the ordinary. A woman lies before you. She slowly opens her eyes. When she spots you, she asks you, "What's your name?" You reply back, "My name is $name" When she hears your name, she cries out of joy. "Oh my $name! How much you have grown!" You are confused at what she is saying, and you ask her, "I'm so sorry, but do I know you?" When she hears that, she laughes out loud, amused by your question. "I don't know how to explain this, but my name is Phyllis Doumfort, and I am your biological mother." The room spins before you. You are feeling very nauseous. Phyllis says to you patting your back, "[[Sit down]], $name. We have a lot to talk about"You sit down next to your mother. "I don't understand. How are you my mother?" you ask her. "Well, a long time ago, this was my house. I married your biological dad, Bennett about 15 years ago. I had you a year later. 100 days after you were born, a dozen cupcakes arrived at my doorstep, congradulating me for having a baby. I thought that it was harmless and ate a few, and gave a few to Bennett as well. I instantly fell to the ground, and when I opened my eyes, I was in this room with the people you think of as your mom and dad. They told me that I was to stay in this room, and that I had to sign a piece of paper saying that the house was theirs, or else they would harm you. I had no choice, and I have been in this room ever since." You are shocked at her story. You can't believe that you didn't know that Phyllis existed. "We got to do something about this." You say to her, determined to get her and yourself [[out of this mess]].You climb into a light filled room. A short, stout woman sits in a rocking chair. You recognize her as the woman from the picture. Her kind eyes widen as she sees you. "My... my... $name!" she gasps.
"I'm sorry, but I don't have a clue to who you are." you reply.
"$name, my name is Phyllis Doumfort. And I am your [[biological mother|Sit down]]."You spot a little white thing sticking out of the bed frame and you pull it out. It turns out to be a note. You open it up, and read it. It says two words, "look up." You and Phyllis look up toward the ceiling. There is a big hole, big enough to fit the two of you. If you and Phyllis get on the bed and jump, you guys would make it in the hole. So, you do [[just that.]] You and Phyllis end up in the first hallway again with the childhood door, and the door with light pouring out of it. You spot the door where you first entered, and [[lead Phyllis there|lead phyllis there]]. You go through the door, and end up in your house again. Phyllis looks around the room, shocked that so much has changed since she lived there. Suddently, the doorbell rings. You go to the door and look through the peephole. You see your "mom" and "dad" standing in front of the door looking impatient. You turn to Phyllis and tell her who is standing on the other side of the door. Phyllis looks alarmed. She starts panicking, pacing around the room. You go up to her and take her hand. She looks at you. You smile at her and say, "It's going to be okay." Still holding her hand, you ssloooooooowwwwwlllyyyy open the door.
