,It is a normal Wednesday morning, and is the last day of the quarter. You are 1 percentage point away from an A in calculus and need to achieve it by the end of the day. Do you want to go to [[school]] or stay home and [[do nothing]].You walk into the building and go to your first couple classes. You have to use the restroom after third period, and enter the second story restroom. Do you want to go to the [[bathroom]] halfway through the day or go to the [[cafeteria]]?You have chosen to stay home today. You fake an illness by complaining to your mother of excessive stomach pain. She decides it's best if you stay home. Meanwhile, both your parents go to work and so do both of your brothers, Paul and Hammad. Do you want to [[stay home]] for breakfast or go to [[McDonalds]]?You begin to make your breakfast. Waffles, obviously. You hear a sound, it seems to be coming from the basement. It is a mufffled thumping noise. Do you wish to [[go downstairs]] and investigate or [[ignore it]].You walk into McDonalds, ready to eat 2 Egg McMuffins for your starving tummy. However, as you sit down with your meal, two armed men enter the store and hold up the counter. While one is demanding cash, the other walks around and is taking valuables from customers. Will you [[run]] or [[stay seated]]?You go downstairs and look around. You approach the window from where the noise seemed to be coming from and see a stray cat running away. You go back upstairs and see the waffles are burning. Do you grab the [[fire extinguisher]] or run outside and [[call 911]].You're a boring person huh? At least your waffles don't get soggy. After you finish your breakfast, you start your day. Do you want to begin by playing [[video games]], or do you want to start your [[homework]] that you missed? You don't know how to properly work the fire extinguisher! The house is gutted and the police show up and call your parents. They are emotionally devastated and you spend the night crying in the hotel. The next morning your parents want to know if you're mentally stable to go to school. Do you [[go]] or [[sulk]] with them all day.You call 911 and firefighters save your house. However, your parents are very upset with you when they get home! Despite your best efforts, your parents are called and come home immedietly. There are no words to describe how upset they are. They ground you, send you to your room, and tell you not to use any electronics. However, all of your work was in the kitchen with you and burned. Do you use your [[cell phone]] and text your friends to send you the work, or do you sit and [[contemplate]] your actions. You begin to tear out of McDonalds, but as you are running across the parking lot, you get shot in the leg, and are laying there helplessly as the thiefs get away. Should have gone to school! Good luck explaining this to your parents. The one man is going around table to table. He comes to your table and asks for your wallet. Do you [[give it to him]] or [[throw your coffee]] in his face? The robbers get away with your wallet, and also hit your car as they are speeding away! Now, you have to go home, contact the insurance agency, and complete a lot of paperwork. Along with this, they now have your identity so you have to go through the hassle of cancelling all of your credit and debit cards. Then, you have to explain to your parents how this all happened. Nice work, bud! Maybe if you had gone to school, this wouldn't have happened."Aaah!" the robber yells. He is temporarily blinded, as McDonalds didn't listen to the regulations in place after the lawsuit in the 1990s when their coffee was too hot. Do you [[run]] out of the store or do you [[confront]] the blinded robber? You realize the robbers are not as smart as they think. So you calm the robbers down and talk both of them into leaving the store and giving the money back. They're not the brightest. Do you [[stay]] to talk to reporters, or do you [[go home|homework]] to do your homework? You continue with your classes and lead a boring life. You pull out the brick and find a door underneath, and get sucked in. Inside, you are in a whole new world! Do you want to [[explore]] or try to go back home and [[go to class|let it be]].You find the magical lion Aslan in Narnia and become ruler of all the land. Congrats, pretty good day! You never come back, so the A doesn't matter. In it, you see a loose brick on the wall. Do you [[take it]] out or do you [[let it be]]?You enter the cafeteria and a freshman (A freshman! Can you believe it!) bumps into you, a senior! The nerve! Do you [[throw your applesauce]] at them to show their place in the social hierarchy, or do you passivley [[sit]] at your table. You chuck the applesauce in his face! Ha, that'll show him. However, his whole posse starts to gather ammo to use against you. Luckily, your friends realize how brave you are and back you up. Massive food fight! You get expelled and don't get an A.All of your friends make fun of you and leave once they see what a pushover you are. You go eat lunch in the [[bathroom]] and cry.You waste all day playing video games! No A for you.You sit down at your desk to start your homework. Do you want to do [[chemistry]] or [[calculus]]?Mr. Palko's work takes you down a wormhole, and you spend the next four hours trying to complete one question. By the time you finish, it is 6:00 at night and you haven't completed any of your calculus. Do you phone a [[friend]] or [[give up]] and go to bed?As you begin your math homework, you remember that there is a Math Madness live match going on at the same time. Do you do your [[homework for class]] or participate in the [[competition]]?Your homework is very difficult, and you spend hours trying to understand it, to no avail. (Maybe you should've gone to school?) Anyway, it is very late. Do you [[give up]] or phone a [[friend]]?Inside the competition, there is a tutorial that shows you how to complete the calculus for the next day. A for you!Haha, there's still hope! You text your buddy, Nabeeha, and ask her for her work so you can study it. She sends it right away, but as she does, your dad walks into the room. Do you [[hide]] your phone or [[admit]] you were using your phone? For the next four hours, you sit and think about the fate of your waffle adventure. Unfortunatly, you do not have an epiphany and learn calculus during this time. You wake up the next morning panicked and rush into school explaining your situation to your teacher. She replies that she didn't see anything about your house burning in the newspaper this morning and calls you a liar. No A for you!You go in to school with red puffy eyes and explain your situation to your teacher. She saw it on the news last night and feels really bad for you. She gives you an extra weekend to study and you pull off the A. Good work! You sit alone and cry all day. Then you remember your calc grade. You cry even more knowing it can never be fixed. No A for you!You throw your phone underneath your bed. Your dad suspiciously looks at you and asks you what you were doing. "Oh, nothing" you reply. He proceeds to search under your bed and finds your phone, still on! He immedietly makes you go downstairs and sit with him and your mom all night, scowling at you the whole time. You end up getting no work done, and go into school tomorrow and find out you'll get a B in calc! Loser! You decide to be honest and hand your phone to your dad. "I am disappointed you didn't listen to me the first time, but I appreciate your honesty." He takes your phone and leaves. It is around 8:30 PM. Your options are running short. Do you decide to just [[sit there|contemplate]] all night and stare at the wall, or do you [[sneak out]] to find help for the work? You proceed to wait until you hear the television click on downstairs, and then open your window, take the screen out, and fall into a bush. You escape unharmed. It's rather chilly outside, and you are just in jeans and a t-shirt. Your friend, Vince, lives on the other side of your neighborhood. Do you decide to [[walk]] to his house to get help, or do you decide to take your [[car]], which is inside the garage?Even though you are shivering, you decide to walk to Vince's house. You go running through the darkness and arrive at his house. While he is mildly surprised, Vince still helps you with your work. What an amazing person! After two hours, you decide to return home. While you are coming up the street, you realize all the lights in the house are on. Do you [[re-enter]] your bedroom or climb inside the [[bathroom|homebathroom]] window that you know is always open? You open your garage to get your car, only to see the stern face of your father in the doorway. You figurativley put your tail between your legs and go back into the house, defeated. No A for you!Your parents are searching through your closet while looking for you, and catch you coming back in! They are very upset with you. However, the next day at school, you take the final calc test and get an A. Congratulations! You are grounded for the next 2 months and have effectively destroyed your home and social life, but you pulled off the A! All the more time to study. You creep in through the bathroom. You walk out that door, to have your parents come flying down the hallway, yelling they couldn't find you. Do you [[lie]] and fake a stomach ache, or do you tell the [[truth]]?You grab your stomach and start moaning of intense pain. Somehow, they believe you! You go into school the next day, took the calc test, and got an A, you sly rascal!Your parents are furious. However, the next day at school, you take the final calc test and get an A. Congratulations! You are grounded for the next 2 months and have effectively destroyed your home and social life, but you pulled off the A! All the more time to study. You stay and talk to reporters, and instantly become an Internet sensation. Your parents come immedietly to the store and are so proud of you! You take this opportune time to email your teacher, who unfortunatly says that your homework is still due tomorrow. Do you [[go home|homework]] to do your homework, or do you [[criticize]] your teacher on local television?Drat! It turns out that Mr. Cochran is a very popular member of the local community, and watches the news that night. Even though you study really hard at home, you get a different test than everybody else and fail miserably. In fact, you do so poorly that you get a C instead of a B! Criticial mistake! You call up your friend, Nabeeha. Fortunatly for you, she has formed a study group and there is group meeting at the Commonplace, with the best and the brightest students in the class at it! They invite you to go. However, your other friend wanted you to play soccer with them that night. Do you play [[soccer]] or go to the [[study session]]?You weak willed sniveling coward! You get a B the next day on your final test, as you succumbed to fatigue. As you are a great soccer player and never miss an opportunity to practice, you go with your friend and shoot around on the local college's turf field. An hour into your session, you notice 3 strange men walk in the side of the stadium. Do you [[leave]] or keep [[playing]]?Your friends help you out studying! You end up getting an A.It's now 8:00, and you are hungry and still have to do all of your work! Do you decide to test your internal fortitude and pull an [[all-nighter]] studying, or [[give up]] and go to bed?You keep on playing, and the men then approach you. You start to get ready for a confrontation, but it turns out they are professional scout. They are very impressed and sign you to a European squad. You are an instant millionare and quit school, and your A doesn't matter anymore. However, you always kind of feel shame for never learning the material.Who cares about scientific research? You can do it anyway. Around 3 AM, you feel yourself start to get sleepy. Do you [[keep going]] or [[eat]] a snack? You decide to keep going! You blink your eyes and BAM you're facefirst in your book, and its time to go to school. You are now sleep deprived and understudied. B for you!You eat some high sugar snacks to keep you going. You keep studying all night, down about 5 coffees in the morning, and ace your test! A for you!The Calculus Test
