,,,,,,,,King Tut has recently died. You are working as a guard for his tomb to earn extra money and increase your social status. Last night his tomb was robbed, and you need to find the treasures before you are blamed. You walk into the tomb to find two holes dug into the ground. One hole is small, and looks as though it barely fits a human through it. The other is larger. You notice that around the small hole there are footprints. Should you go though the [[small passage]] or the [[large passage]]?
<<set $haskey to false>>You find yourself in a large room. There are small torches in each corner and more footprints leading to a hatch. On the opposite side of the room you notice an amulet. Should you go through the [[hatch]] or look at the [[amulet]]?
<img src="http://www.historyoflighting.net/images/historyoflighting/torch-2-small.jpg" alt="Image result for ancient torch"/>There is nothing in this passage. You have to return to [[where it all began|tomb]].<<if $haskey is true>>
The hatch is locked and needs something to unlock it! You realize the lock is in the shape of a jewel. The amulet! You take it out of your pocket and see that it fits in the lock! You can [[open the hatch|secret hallway]].
<<elseif $haskey is false>>
The hatch is locked... looks like you need to go and [[look for the key|tomb]].
<</if>>The bright green <div class="jewel">amulet</div> has finger prints on it! You are unsure if you should leave the evidence or take it with you.
Should you [[leave it]] or [[take it]]?You decide to leave the amulet. Time to advance to the [[hatch]].You decide to take the amulet with you. You never know if you might need it later on! Now you can continue to [[hatch]]!
<<set $haskey to true>>In this hallway the footprints continue! You notice that they branch off at a fork in the hallway. One hallway has smaller footprints and the other has larger footprints.
Should you follow the [[small footprints]] or the [[large footprints]]?You follow the footprints and end up at a dead end. The ground seems very soft here and suddenly everything is shaking! The ground beneath you falls and you end up in a [[pit]].
You follow the large footprints and end up in front of two staircases. One is made of gold, and the other is made of silver. Do you go up the [[silver stairs]] or the [[gold stairs]]?
You climb up the long staircase made of silver. At the top there is a hatch on the ceiling. Should go go throught he [[ceiling hatch]] or return to the [[large footprints]]?You climb up the long gold staircase. While climbing, you notice a skelaton laying on a middle landing. This is getting creepy. At the top you see shiny metal objects. You are unsure if they are real or fake. Should you approach the [[metal objects]] or return back down the stairs to the [[large footprints]]?You emerge from the hatch and realize you are just 10 feet from the tomb enterance. You have gone in a big circle!! Too much time has passed and the thief has gotten away and sold all of the treasure! Looks like you are to blame. You have no other choice but to return to the tomb. You approach the objects and see the theif! They have their back to you. You look around to see if you can find something to knock him out with. You rememember the skelaton in on the stairs. You also see a stick laying on a lower stair. Should you grab the [[skull]] or the [[stick]]?
You have successfully returned the treasure! You look around. There is nothing but dust and sand. You fell into a trap! You must find your way out or else you are stuck forever. Search the room... what do you see? Some rocks in the corner and a unusually large pile of sand. Should you check out the [[sand]] or the [[rocks]]?
<<set $hasshovel to false>><<set $hasshovel to true>> There is a shovel buried underneath the sand! Quick! Go over the the [[rocks]] and dig yourself out of the trap! <<if $hasshovel is true>>
You approach the rocks and realize you can dig yourself out of the trap with the shovel!! Quick! Move the rocks with the shovel to get back to the [[secret hallway]]!
<<elseif $hasshovel is false>>
The rocks won't budge and you have cut your hand! You need something to move the rocks without hurting yourself. You need to go back and [[look for something to help|pit]].
<</if>>You take the skull and throw it at the theif's head. You miss and they turn around and see you! You look back at the skelaton.
Should you take the [[femur]] to defend yourself? Should you rely on your [[fighting skills]] to defend yourself? You grab the stick and hit the theif in the head with it. The old stick breaks in half barely leaving a mark on the theif. He lunges at you! Do you rely on your [[fighting skills]] or flee the scene [[crying]]. You grab the femur bone and swing it wildly in front of you. The theif is distracted for a minute, which gives you enough time to bash them in the head. The perp stumbles over and is stuggling on the ground. You need to tie the theif up!! Should you use your [[ripped shirt]] or the [[old rope]] laying by the skelaton?Sadly you remember that your fighting skills are pretty bad. As you lurch forward to open hand slap the perp in the face, he hits you in the head with the stick that you should have grabbed. You land on the ground unconcious. The perp gets away and you die a slow and painful death. The fact is, you are poor and your clothing reflects that. The perp breaks free from his shirt restraints and quickly runs away before you can catch them. At least you found the treasure! Sadly, he did manage to take some gold blocks. Maybe nobody will notice...The old rope holds! You can now pack up the treasure and turn the perp in! This will definitely boost your social status! Yayyyyy. Quickly take the treasure back to the [[locked tomb]]!!As you turn to run you trip and fall down the stairs. The perp gets away with the treasure and you have to go back to the tomb. Luckily he leaves behind some odds and ends that you can return. Maybe nobody will notice that 3/4 of the treaure is missing. Welcome to King Tut's Quest!
