Genre:Fantasy Adventure
Would you like to [[start game|name]]?The fish is completely covered in chartruse scales. Its mouth is agape and its violet eyes are wide. The fish gasps, "Ah, you saved me, I almost drowned in there!" Do fish normallly talk? Can't fish swim? "I need your help! I must find someone by the name of Atlas the Pig Warlock! Will you help me on my eneavours?" The fish babbled.
You feel confusion cross your face. Your eyebrow raised and your eyes widened. Do you [[throw the fish back into the water|throw fish]] or do you [[help the fish on his quest|help fish]]?You grab the wriggling fish and unhook its lip. You toss it into the stream with a shriek. It bobs its head to the surface, gasping for air. "How dare you try to kill me! Murder! Murder! Treason! Are you aware that I am the prince of this land? Why, I'll have your head for this!"
This fish cannot be the prince, you think to yourself. The prince went missing weeks ago.
"If you help me, I won't send you to the guillotine," the fish shouted from the creek.
Do you [[help the fish prince|help fish]], or do you [[let him drift away]]You fill your bucket with water and pick the fish up. "So you'll help me, the prince of the land, find Atlas the Pig Warlock?" He asked. You drop the fish into the bucket and sigh your agreement to help the fish. The fact that he claimed to be the prince came as a shock, but was more of a reason to help him. Public execution was not on your agenda for today.
You've never heard of Atlas the Pig Warlock, but once you return the fish to his prince form, you can return to your lonely shack in the woods.
"I've heard that Atlas lives in the Pleasant Pasture of Purple Petunias. Is that far from here?" The price asked. "By the way, I am Prince Paul the Perfect, not Prince Paul the Predictable, Paul the Predictable is my father."
You know where the Pleasant Pasture of Purple Petunias is, for you passed through there once. You did not enjoy your stay in the rolling fields, but you must take Paul the Perfect to find Atlas the Pig Warlock.
You know of two routes to the Pleasant Pasture of Purple Petunias. Do you take the [[scenic route]] and spend more time with the prince or the [[shortcut]] and have the prince away from you sooner? You turn onto the well trodden path through the mountain pass, passing pink and red roses and blue and purple violets, still carrying the bucket with Paul the Perfect swimming inside. You are halfheartedly listening to the story about his thirteenth jousting match. After listening to the first five stories about jousting, you've started to ignore Paul's obnoxous voice and mannerisms.
A wagon filled with a merry troupe of people passed by. You avoid ruts in the road, rocks, and tree branches so that you don't trip.
"I don't believe I got your name," Paul stated.
"I'm $name," you say aloud.
"How much longer do I need to stay a fish, $name?" Paul snapped. "We should be at the pasture by now."
"I'm sorry, sir. We can turn around and go the other route or I can walk faster," you reply cooly.
"Whatever," the prince said.
Do you want to [[go the other route|turn around]] or [[walk faster]]?You cut though the trees and start to crawl through the shubs and bushes, searching for the tunnel that brought you to this forest many years ago. You come across a tree covered in knobs. You reach up and pull a branch. The bark of the tree opens to expose the hollowed trunk and a set of dirt stairs. You enter the tree and close the door behind you. You put your right hand on the side of the tunnel and hold the bucket with Paul in it in the left.
"I'm $name, by the way," you tell Prince Paul.
He replies, "I dont care, just get me to where I need to be."
"Why are you a fish now?" You ask.
"$name, a witch thought I was arrogant so she thought turning me into a fish would change me," he replied.
"She was clearly wrong," you mutter under your breath.
Somehow, Paul heard you, and started yelling, "I'm not arrogant! I'm a changed man!"
"Alright, sir," you reply unenthusiastically.
You've reached the end of the tunnel, so you climb out. You're met with the powerful fragrance of flowers. You look around to see a busling metropolis made of woven grasses. Now that you have reached the Pleasant Pasture of Purple Petunias, you are now tasked wth finding Atlas the Pig Warlock. Do you want to [[ask for help]]?
What is your name?

You ran for several miles before reaching the Pleasant Pasture of Purple Petunias. You're met with the powerful fragrance of flowers. You look around to see a busling metropolis made of woven grasses. Now that you have reached the Pasture, you are now tasked with finding Atlas the Pig Warlock. Do you want to [[ask for help]]?You stop the nearest pig to ask her about Atlas. "Excuse me, ma'am, me and my fish friend here are looking for Atlas the Pig Warlock. Would you happen to know where to find him?"
The pig's expression morphed from curiosity to fear. "We can't talk here," she whispers as she grabs your hand an pulls you into the nearest doorway. "Witchcraft was outlawed years ago in the Pasture, but if you need me to join you on this quest, I will." She must've sensed Paul's and my confustion because she stated, "Oh, Paul the Perfect and $name I've been expecting you for hours. I'm who you're looking for. I'm Atlas." Atlas's mouth did not move.
"Telepathy," Paul muttered. "We must go with her."
"Sadly, I am unable to lift your curse, Paul, but I can help you find HER." Although Atlas never directly stated who she would take us to find, one can infer that she was speaking about the infamous HER, the most extraordinary wizard. Although he is extremely powerful, HER is quite crazy and unintelligent. I once heard that he accidentally killed a mosquito, tried to ressurect it, but ended up killing it twice.
"I don't think that is a good idea," I whispered.
"Shut up $name," Paul yelled. "HER can help me."
You have no choice but to go with Paul and Atlas to [[find HER]].Atlas leads you and Paul out of the Pleasant Pasture of Purple Petunias and into a cave.
"HER! HER! It's Atlas!" Atlas whispered throughout the cave.
A decrepit pig waddled out from behind a stalagmite, muttering obcene language. "Atlas, my dear, you woke me from my nap," HER yelled. He sniffed the air. "Is that fish I smell? Atlas, did you bring me fish? I love fish." HER began to chant, "Fish. Fish. Fish."
Atlas looked at me and Paul apoligetically, then turning to HER, saying, "You can not, I repeat: not, eat this fish. He is Prince Paul and he has been cursed."
"Which one?" HER asked.
"What do you mean, 'which one'?" Atlas responded.
"Which one? Prince Paul the Perfect or Prince Paul the Pathetic...er, I mean, Predictable?" HER cackled.
"I'm Paul the Perfect! I have no flaws!" Paul shouted. "Can you help me?"
HER replied with a solemn "No, only the witch who placed the curse can lift it. you can find the witch, the deadly Lisa, in a travelling theater troupe preforming in the inner city of the Pleasant Pasture of Purple Petunias."
Now, you, Paul, and Atlas must go into the city to [[find Lisa]].
You follow Atlas out of the cave and Paul says, "That was a complete waste of time."
Atlas responds, "HER told us where to find Lisa, so we got plenty of information there."
"But did he change me back to a human? No! Did he try not to eat me? No! All HER did was chant about fish! If you didn't take us on this little detour, I would be human by now! And you, $name, if you hadn't taken your sweet time getting us here, I would be human!" Paul shouted at the top of his lungs, or rather, gills.
"If I hadn't picked you up out of the stream, I wouldn't be here, you would be dead, and neither Atlas or I would have to deal with your arrogance," you scream, consumed by anger. How dare he disrespect you after all you have done for him. You didn't have to save him, but you did. He doesn't realize that your bucket is the only thing preventing his demise.
"Please stop arguing," Atlas said. "We need to find Lisa so that we all can go our separate ways."
Atlas begins to walk away and you begin to follow her. You will now begin the trek [[into the city|inner city]].Once your group reaches the city, Atlas leads you to a park where plays are often shown. You creep behind the stage where the actors are getting ready.
"Excuse me, I'm looking for Lisa," Paul says politely. This is the first time you have heard him be polite.
The actors clear a path to a woman doing her makeup. You approach the woman.
"Excuse me, ma'am, are you Lisa?" Paul asks her. The woman turns to face you.
"That would be me, Mr. Prince, sir," Lisa said. "I assume you want me to change you back."
"Yes. I have been deeply humbled by this experience and I have changed for the better," Paul replied.
Lisa chuckled, responding with a simple "No."
"What do you mean no?" Paul asked.
"I will not lift your curse because you have not changed. Until you change, you will not be turned back. Now please leave me alone," Lisa responded.
"Thank you," you respond as you walk away from the park.
"Put me in the nearest pond," Paul says, defeated. "I have given up. You all can go home now. I've cost you and Atlas too much time. I'll be fine living as a fish."
"Poof," a voice behind you says. Paul began to [[change back into a human|pauls transition]].Paul grew legs and arms. His skin began to change from scales to flesh. He began to double in size so you dumped your bucket out. Paul stood, in regal clothing with a golden crown atop his head, completetly soaked in water.
Paul was no longer a fish, but rather a prince. You have suceeded in your mission.
Would you like to [[try again|start]]?You are standing alone in a forest and holding a fishing rod and a bucket. You are shrouded by trees. A babbling brook rushes past. You cast a line into the water and sit, waiting. You feel a tug on the line. Reeling the heavy line in, you are astounded by what you saw. You caught quite a strange [[fish]].You look at the fish prince and turn around, walking into the forst, never to see the fish again. You live the rest of your life a lonely hermit living in the woods, always thinking about how your life would have unfolded had you helped the poor fish prince.
