You have been spending days in the Colorado mountains. Mid-winter, they are covered in snow, and you anxiously wait to ski down the mountains with your significant other.
It's the third day you have spent at the top of the mountain. After a good nights rest and trying to stay warm through the blizzard, you and your significant other start the trip down the mountain. Beings that it's been snowing so hard, you think that it would be safer to ski down now instead of later.
[[Next]]It's been a couple of hours of slowing and safely making the trip down the mountain. But suddenly, your significant other's ski gets caught on a hidden rock. They scream out as they fall a bit of the way down the mountain. You chase after them.
As you reach your partner, the mountain feels like it's beginning to shake and crumble beneath your feet. You turn around and see the makings of an avalanche head down the mountain towards you and your fallen parter.
Do you [[leave your partner]] or do you [[help them up]]?Your significant other screams out your name and in terror as you ski as fast as you can down the mountain. You are trying not to lose balance when suddenly the crashing of the snow becomes too loud and you can no longer hear their voice behind you.
As you hold back tears, there becomes a split in the mountain, do you go left, which seems to lead to be rockier? Or do you go to the right, where the snow looks smooth and soft?
[[Left]] or [[Right]]Pulling up your partner, you limp-ski towards the bottom of the mountain for your life. Knowing that there is no room for mistakes and hesitation, you try to look ahead and plan our the root.
Coming up you see a fork in the path, the left seems to be covered in rocks but leads to a plateu at the bottom of the mountain. To the right, the path seems to have a more shallow dip with soft snow, but you see no path to get to the bottom.
Do you go [[left]] or [[right]]?You quickly take the path of what seems to be danger, trying to stay on your skis you bounce off of rocks and ice covered snow. The path dramatically drops and you are suddenly traveling down hill at a dangerous angle. Looking out to your right, you suddenly see a cottage about roughly two miles out.
You come down to a plateu and you race against the winds of the avalanche. In a movie scene type of manner, you ski across the plateu as the avalanche hits the edge of the clif, sending down dramatic blizzards of snow and ice. Untouched, you come into sight of the cottage.
[[Continue]]You go right, down what seems to be the safer path with the smoothest snow. Speeding for you life, you try to keep control of your skis. You dodge left and right of shifty snow. You can hear the avalanche getting closer and you begin to look for a safe haven. About two miles down the mountain, you see a tiny cottage. But the only way to get there seems to be by jumping off the cliff.
Do you [[jump off the cliff]] or [[look for another way down]]The drop was too much for your body to handle, you slam into the snow waiting for you at the bottom of the jump. Your body feels no pain but that's because you are no longer feeling anything. Snow comes crashing down on top of you and you suffocate. This is the end.
Would you like to [[Restart->Alpines]]?Stopping before the edge of the cliff, you quickly look around for an escape route. Before you can collect your thoughts, you are knocked off the cliff by the avalanche's impenatratable wall of snow. The drop was too much for your body to handle, you slam into the snow waiting for you at the bottom of the jump. Your body feels no pain but that's because you are no longer feeling anything. Snow comes crashing down on top of you and you suffocate. This is the end.
Would you like to [[Restart the->Alpines]]?The cottage's chimney is blowing smoke and the light coming from the windows is warm and inviting. You make your way to the door. Gently knocking, you wait a few seconds before someone opens the door.
"Come on in, get out of the cold, hurry."
You click off your skis and lay your pole by the door and walk into the tiny house. The man who opens the door is so tall he has to bend while walking to keep from hitting his head off of the ceiling. He's muscular and old, not usually two characteristics that go together.
"Who are you?"

"Well, $name, how did you find me?"
You explain that you had been on a ski trip, tears come to your eyes as you remember your partner, escapting death and finding this cottage. The old man tells you his name is Henry, he fixes you a warm dinner, and sends you both to bed.
You sleep for three days. After regaining your strength and your mental stability, you realize it's already night fall of the fourth day. You get up, walk downstairs to see Henry sitting in a rocking chair by the fire.
"How are you feeling?"
1. [["Like Hercules."]]
2. [["How do you think i'm feeling?"]]
3. [["Emotionally and mentally numb."]]He chuckles a hearty laugh. You sit down on the floor a couple feet across from him.
"Well I guess that's better than not feeling anything at all. You did infact cheat death on that one, I don't know how you survived."
Henry tells you he contacted a search party and that there should be someone to pick you up in the morning. You thank him and spend the rest of the night telling stories to each other. You'll miss him.
[[End]]He chuckles a hearty laugh. You sit down on the floor a couple feet across from him.
"Well I guess you've got a point there, no need for the sass though. I can't believe you lived, that'll be quite the story for the grandkids."
Henry tells you he contacted a search party and that there should be someone to pick you up in the morning. You thank him and spend the rest of the night telling stories to each other. You'll miss him.
[[End]]Henry gives you a sad look and pats your shoulder. You explain how you feel like they aren't actually dead and you'll come home to them.
"Well kid, you can't save the world, you did what you had to do to survive. Once you come to terms with everything, it'll be easier."
Henry tells you he contacted a search party and that there should be someone to pick you up in the morning. You thank him and spend the rest of the night telling stories to each other. You'll miss him.

Do you [[Jump off the cliff]] or [[Look for another way down]]
Your partner screams as you toss both of your bodies off of the clif, wrapping yourself around them, you try to cushion the fall for their already injured body.
